What Does Flash Of Lighting In The Eye Periphery Indicate?

Question: I am seeing what looks like a flash of lightening in the periphery of my eye. A sparkler that rains downward.
Brief Answer:
Get your eyes checked by eye specialist....
Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,
Seeing a flas of lightning at the periphery of your eye at your age (63 years old) could be related to possible eye problems like increased eye pressure or retinal disorders.
This is especially true if you are also suffering from high blood pressure or any cardiovascular disease.
A further consultation with Eye specialist is recommended.
If nothing, then, perhaps you've stared at direct sunlight or have stayed for sometime outside on strong sunlight.
If this is true, then the flashing is temporary and will resolve within a few days.
Hope it was of help.
