What Does Floaters In The Eye Indicate?

Pls share the cause, treatment and precaution for this.
I suggest for indirect ophthalmoscopytest.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic
I am Dr Dadapeer k an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.
I reviewed your history.
Floaters are usually because of problems involving the posterior part of the eye, vitreous which lies behind the lens.
Most of the times the causes are not serious and does not require treatment. The common causes are vitreous degenerations, vitreous detachment, vitritis....
These are common in middle age and elderly aged people.
Since you are only 35 years old I would suggest for evaluation.
The test required is indirect ophthalmoscopy to evaluate the posterior segment.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for the above test to find out rare causes like retinitis or retinal tears.
Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.
Thank you
With regards

Many thanks for your time.
Actually, I got checked my eye sight from reputed eye care center, during check, Dr. told me that there are some holes in retina in both the eyes(3 holes in left and 1 hole in right eye) and that needs to be closed by laser to prevent it to become bigger, but still that black floater from left eye problem would appear.
Here, I need advice from you Sir. Do I need to get this done or any test to be done to check is laser treatment really required.
Regards,
XXXX
You need to get laser done.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.
The presence of retinal holes is an indication for laser treatment.
Hence I advice you to go for laser treatment.
Floaters will decrease gradually but laser is required to prevent development of retinal detachment.
Hence I advice you to go for laser treatment.
Thank you
