What Does Floaty Specks In Urine After Lithotripsy Indicate?
Question: Hi after having a kidney stone had lithotripsy and they said it had worked was around December was just wondering as I test my urine now to try and keep it pale yellow as much as I can sometimes there's white floaty flecks bits what on earth causes this I'm also taking chanca piedra pills as to hopefully not get stones any more thank you

A urine sample can also be done to check for crystals in your urine. It is really hard to say the composition of the white flecks that you see in the urine.
It would be wise to remain on a low oxalate low purine diet to prevent stone recurrence and prevent crystal formation in your urine.
Chanca piedra is used as a herbal supplement for treatment and prevention of kidney stones. It may be able to help you in stone prevention.
