What Does Fluid Build Up In The Liver Indicate?
Please kindly describe the pain.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM to post your question.
I read it carefully and I understand your concern.
Can you describe a little bit more the pain? Where is it localized? Does it radiate? Do you have numbness? Have you been lifting weights recently?
It may be a muscular pain, a nerve pain and also a pain in the joint. So depending on the information you will give, we can decide which one of those is the diagnoses.
Also, since I don't know the ranges of your liver function, I think you should talk with your doctor for every medicine that you will consider to add to the ones you are using. So, I can recommend medicines that do not affect the liver but its better for you to consult with your doctor and see if he is on for you to take them.
Hope this is helpful.
Looking forward to your follow-up question.

Pressure in the ligaments because of the increased abdominal pressure.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the follow-up question.
If it is localized in the things then it is not very much possible to be something related with the liver function.
There is a ligament though, which is localized near the thigh which gives this type of pain when it is pressed by abdominal content, like for example in pregnant women. It may get worse when you lay down because the fluids of the ascitis get accumulated in the back and pressing the ligament. So I suspect it should be better when you will have your next session of removing the fluids.
I would recommend though to talk with your doctor too about this new symptom. It is very important that you keep a close relationship with them since they know you and your condition much better.
Hope this is helpful.
