What Does Froath In Urine Indicate?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
You can do urine examination for albumin excretion
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome to HCM. I have gone through the question and understand your concerns.
It is great that your blood sugars under control now. How is your HbA1c (3 month average blood glucose)?
The froathing of urine in diabetics is mostly due to increased albumin (protein) excretion from kidney. I suggest you to do the following tests to confirm that - urine albumin creatinine ratio, 24 hour urine protein and serum creatinine. This will confirm if the froathing is due to kidney damage or not.
Don't worry. Control of blood glucose and some drugs (ACE inhibitors and ARBs) can revert it back to normal. Your diabetologist will be able to help you with this.
Hope I have answered your questions. If you have any further queries I will be happy to help you.

No symptoms will be there at this stage.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Noted your concerns.
No symptoms will be there in early kidney damage other than froathing of urine.
The investigations ordered by your diabetologist cover everything. The investigations ordered by your doctor are :
LFT - Liver function tests
KFT - kidney function tests
Ft4 and TSH - Thyroid function
HbA1c -average blood glucose
Lipids - your cholesterol values.
These tests are usually done in the follow up of diabetes to see if your liver and kidneys are functioning normally and if you have other diseases like increased cholesterol or hypothyroidism commonly seen with diabetes.
He has also ordered mau- microalbumin in urine - which is a test for albumin excretion in urine ( similar to albumin creatinine ratio that I have suggested) for the froathing of urine. If it is very high we can do a 24 hour urine protein to assess the severity.
So don't worry. Your diabetologist is thinking in right direction.

again howshall i take care of foot. i find that sugar can affect foot also.
in natural way how to reduce sugar level other than walking.?
It is curable in early stages
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX ,
Thanks for the follow up question.
1. Diabetic kidney damage is curable at early stages and we can prevent the progression of it. The key to it is good diabetic control and periodic check ups
2. Regarding diabetic foot
This is mainly due to damage to the nerves and blood vessels in diabetes. Again diabetic control is the key in prevention. Use moisturisers to prevent dryness of feet, have proper foot wear and regularly check your feet to see for any injuries.
3. Other than diet and exercise, few natural therapies are found to be good in diabetes. Fig leaves, fenugreek seeds, cinnamon, grape seed extract, bitter melon, garlic, alovera etc are tried. The benefits vary in patients. No good proofs for long term benefits in diabetes.
Hope I have answered your questions
Wishing you good health
