Small 6 mm plural-based nodule in right middle lobe. Nonspecific 3 mm groundglass nodule density in the right costophrenic angle. Correlation with patients esophagus and followup is suggested warranted.
What does groundglass mean ?
Why correlation with espophagus?
Most probably these are benign lesions.

Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to HCM
I have thoroughly gone through your findings in detail.
Your findings are incidental ones and findings are most probably due to benign reason. You shouldn't worry.
However it is necessary to go for follow up scan to detect any increase in size of nodules.
Nodules in your case may be the sequel of past infection.Infection heals by fibrosis, scar in natural course. However it may be due to variety of reasons like inflammation etc.
Ground-glass opacity is the term used in CT scan and it is nonspecific increased opacity of the lung.
It is not clear why it require correlation with espophagus. There may be some spelling mistake. Please check it from the reports and let me know.

Hello XXXXXX
Thanks for writing back
Majority of pulmonary nodules are sequel of infection.
Few cases may be related to pulmonary cancer and some cases may be due to esophageal cancer.
So,your doctor has rightly advised for follow up CT(it will exclude lung cancer)and oesophagoscopy will rule out any esophageal lesions.
Minimal linear atelectasis in lingular lobe and right middle lobe may be due to retained secretions or chronic infections.Minimal linear atelectasis can be ignored.
