What Does Headache After Cataract Surgery Indicate?

Question: I have had a headache since I woke up this morning with a throbbing aching pain on the right side of my head. When I turn my head or cough, is when it is most discomforting I had cataract surgery a week ago Thursday; and need to have my right eye fixed. Is this something I should go to the emergency room for tonight?
Brief Answer:
Should not neglect. Please contact your doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
Since your headache has not responded to paracetamol and you recently had eye surgery, it is better to consult your doctor.
I think you should attend ER if your doctor suggests the same.
You are also more prone for infection since you have diabetes. ( HbA1c above 6.5% is diabetes ).
Take care.
