What Does Headache While Coughing Indicate?

Question: I have a headache when i cough or bent over, since July. Very short and sharp pain. I went to a doctor. He said that it will go away but it did not.
Brief Answer:
No alternatives other than supportive management
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I understand the nature of problem that you are facing. I understand that it has still not gone but there is no way to predict when it will actually go away. All that can be offered is a symptomatic relief. Rather than taking aspirin, I would insist you to take naproxen 500 mg one or two tablets together as and when required.
Take steam inhalation whenever you have cough. It will help in diluting the cough and hence would decrease your requirement to cough forcibly and should thus provide relief.
Let me know if I could help further.
