What Does "immature Granulocytes" In A Blood Test Report Indicate?

Question: I'm waiting on extensive blood work to come back from a specialist my PC sent me to see b/c of abnormal blood work that he saw. Those labs should be back next week. In the meantime I had to see another doc who did some blood work as well. He gave me a copy. My Immature Granulocytes are present at 2%. I also have high/abnormal Monocytes, Eosinophils, and Lymphocytes. The doc who gave me these labs said "I was in good hands w/ the specialist my PC sent me to". Which was kinda alarming. I do know what IG's being high means(well kinda, just internet research) but what I can't seem to find is it being high as well as 3 out of my 5 WBC. Most threads speak of high GI's w/ one other WBC high/low. Please help.... Note: There are symptoms of fatigue, nose bleeds, rashes, migraines and my body feels very weak. And I am young, 30's. All symptoms started about a year ago. Not at once. Progressively.
Brief Answer:
bone marrow test
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Immature Granulocytes are normally absent from peripheral blood.
These are white blood cells that will become monocytes, eosinophils and basophils.
Healthy individuals do not have immature granulocytes present in their peripheral blood and consequently the presence of IG in the blood indicate increased bone marrow activation as seen in sepsis.
High monocytes, eosinophils and lymphocytes can be due to leukemia or sepsis.
Since you are having symptoms such as fatigue, nose bleeds, rashes, migraines and your body feels very weak i will advise you to do a blood culture and bone marrow test to find the cause of your high counts.

Thank you for your response. Another question. My platelet count has been high for the past 3 yrs. 100+ at times. Don't know why hv just monitored it. 2 mo ago(August) my BCB had a high platelet count and high Abs Lympocytes, GI was at 0.0-none present.
Now in October on the labs i was referring to in my initial question, Platelets are still high BUT down 70 pts since Aug labs. This is very low for my usual abnormally high Platelet count, Abs Lympocytes are still high but now Abs Monocytes and Abs Eosinophil are also high and Immatute Granulocytes went from 0.0-2%.
What is your take on the platelets and their dropping 70 pts in 2 mo and what would make the GI's show up and other WBC go higher in 2 months? I guess ultimatly i'm asking if GI's are present its for the reason of something more than a common flu, etc. Then coupled w/ the other high WBC?? In the past week my feet(first time ever) got very swollen. Feet, legs, ankles. They are all very weak/sore. ER doc said kidneys were functioning so no failure there but again just referred me back to the Oncologist whom I'm waiting on the extinsive blood work to get back. I have had sores in my mouth for approx 6 months. Never had a cavity in my life. But w/ the feet thing suddenly I feel like my body is trying to tell me something. Swelling comes and goes. Veins are passable, no blockage?!?! Pic attached of swollen lower extremities.
Basically seriously, is this type of blood work, symptoms signs of a more serious infection/problem/cancer or something not so good?? Thanks for your help and honesty. Helps ease the hurry up and wait on labs gitters.

Hi. Again.
I spoke w/ my Oncologist's nurse today regarding my ER lab reports. If you recall I was sent to this doc for only high platelets, the other IG's and the Mono, Lymphs, Eoisp were not found to be high at that time. My ER visit hours after Onocologist visit rendered those labs. That being so, all blood work Onocologist did last week was geared toward trying to get a wrap on the high platelets(which remember hv now dropped w/ the other lab work abnormal). The Onocologist is out of the country for a month. His nurse told me today and mind you he did say "I'm not a doc and you need to see a doc w/ these symptoms" but... The nurse said that I shouldn't be bothered by the IG's at 2% and other 3 WBC's abnormal/high that was found in the ER blood work which he too had pulled up to view. Meanwhile, I was so weak today trying to drive home I had to pull over and rest to get about 2 miles. I couldnt focus, hold my head up, and legs were so weak i couldn't press the gas. I rested for about 15 min the drove the last few miles. I came in barely made it to my couch and I just remember being woken up from my sleep or whatever was going on, larthergic, exausted sleeping but not fully asleep but my feet that were swollen were laying, gently crossed each other, Where my foot to foot contact was exactly touching felt like they were on fire. Tears were coming from my eyes once I got awake, they were burning so badly. I don't know if I somehow was cutting off my circulation which is next to impossible the way I was laying, they were barely touching but I hv no idea.... I am out of what to do's??? I hv attached pics of my mouth sores and nose bleeds that hv been going on 6+ months. I hv a follow up w/ Onocologist in a month but somethings not right to wait that long. You suggest bone marrow but looks like the nurse does see it, just keeps saying i need to see a doc?! I hv no energy/strength/faitgue. Do you agree w/ the nurse saying the Neutro's have to be abnormal for other systems/blood work to matter/mean anything? He said my over all WBC should be 100k to be anything serious. This is all foreign to me, I just know what happened tonoght can never happen again. It was scarey. Looking bk its all fuzzy. So the Onocolgist being out for four weeks, back to see my PC maybe? Which sucks, start over w/ simple BCB, 10 days to get back, you know the drill. Is the nurse right, shoukd I "not worry about the blood work"? Any input is helpful. Tonight really scared me. And on top of all of that i had a migraine pop up today. They hv become more frequesnt. Gums and nose bleeds are below. Sorry. I dont hv a pic to take of how weak and sore I am. But at my age I shouldn't hv this I don't think. O yeah, your opinion on the feet burning up. I stuck my therometer in-between the two feet, area that was on fire, 123 degrees is what it said that area was. Took my temp via mouth as soon as the thermo cooled down, it was 97.5..... Feet at 123 and body at 97.5. What the heck is going on doc? Thanks so much for all your time and help and in advance.

Brief Answer:
Tranexamic acid and paracetamol tablets
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I have seen your uploaded pictures and do not agree with what the nurse is saying.
I will advise you to take gum Tranexamic acid tablets 500 mg twice daily after food for 3 days for gum and nose bleeding with your doctors advise.
I willl also advise you to wash your legs with lukewarm water and cool down the temperature of your room as you are having feet burning up.
Take paracetamol tablets twice daily for soreness.
For mouth sores you need to apply Boro glycerine ointment locally in your mouth.
For swollen feet i will advise you to mix Epsom salt in water in a small bucket and dip your swollen feets into it.
Since you are having no energy, strength and fatigue i would advise you to go to the ER and do an urgent bone marrow test.
If you have no more clarifications then please rate the answer and close the thread.
