After that on that month I had a saving in a salon were I had a cut and then also I thought the same that I have hiv and got hiv 1 & 2 test which was negative.

Now today after 6 months I had a combo test of p 24 antigen and hiv 1 & 2 antibodies and it was also non reactive and index value is 0.15

It is negative I know I only want to know what is the index value of 0.15 means

It is putting me in anxiety plz clear me what the index value 0.15 means

Brief Answer:
no HIV, take precautions in future

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
0.15 p24 index value only means that you are nonreactive to HIV and need not worry and do not need further testing.
There is equivocal range between 0.33 to 0.99
and more than 1.0 are clearly reactive.
All the later group needs further work up.
For OCD there are lots of good drugs available, you need visit a local psychiatric doctor for getting it prescribed.
I hope the advised will be helpful for you.

Brief Answer:
Your test will be in negative range

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Welcome back.
Your value for the test are definitely negative, you should be happy and the value will never enter the positive value zone.
The technical point behind the smaller value in negative patient(ideally the value should be zero) is that the test method use some reagents for p24 of HIV but they are not 100% specific.
So the reagent react with usual seroproteins to produce insignificant values as in your case.
These values are bound to happen and have been vastly studied by researchers and are of no known bad consequences.
I hope the advise will be informative and helpful for you.

Brief Answer:
no worries

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Welcome back.
The CBC range you are having is within normal range, RBC distribution is high but not essentially indicate any disease. It may be related to individual variation in RBC size in some persons.
You do not have to worry about HIV from till date experiences.
The HIV test for p24 will be in that range in most of the patients who are not having HIV.
I hope the advise will be helpful for you.

Brief Answer:
Anemia work up is advisable.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Welcome back.
Your initial assessment has been within good range and your HIV has been nonreactive so you do not need to worry about HIV and no further investigations are necessary for HIV.
Your red cell distribution in CBC has been higher and Your Hemoglobbin level is on lower side for your age and sex so you may get some work up in this regard.
Get a Peripheral blood smear, TIBC, Ferritin and Iron levels in serum.
Also get Stool sample for routine examination and blood in stool.
Let me know if anything special is detected in the work up.
Take Care.
