Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Regarding your question let me explain that T wave inversion on DIII may be just a pattern of a normal electric vector of the heart due to the cardiac position and respiration in a certain individuals.

But, it may also be an expression of certain health condition like cardiac or pulmonary issues. It is necessary to correlate the clinical symptomatology with additional tests including ECG.

Hope to have been helpful to you!

Let me know in case of any further questions!

Kind regards,

I attached ekg. It only said isolated t wave inversion in 3. I have no symptoms i feel fine. What do you mean by t wave inversion could be caused by pulmonary?? My lungs are fine.

Brief Answer:
T wave inversion is not isolated to DIII:

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

Thank you for providing me the additional information!

Your ECG recordings show T wave inversion not only on DIII lead, but also on V2 -m V3. In addition, there is ST segment depression in V2 - V4 and almost bifid P waves. I recommend discussing with your attending physician on the possibility of performing a cardiac ultrasound test to investigate and exclude any possible cardiac structural abnormalities.

Let me know in case of any further questions.

Ok. I had an echocardiogram it was normal. What about pulmonary nothing pulmonary correct
doctor
Answered by Dr. Ilir Sharka (5 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Opinion as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello again, Dear Nancy!

Let me explain that nothing specific regarding a possible pulmonary health issue could be concluded by your uploaded ECG recordings.

So, just relax as far as you don't show any pulmonary symptomatology or else.

ECG is generally considered an additive test that could help in differential diagnosis, and not a primary test that could drive to a diagnosis.

If you would have respiratory symptomatology other more specific tests would be helpful.

No evidence of pulmonary embolism could be drawn by your ECG.

Hope to have been helpful!

Best regards,

Dr. Iliri

Ok. So im sorry but the way the messages go through it made it seem i was not relaxed. All i was saying was that i had an echocardiogram and it was normal. And this was the only EKG i had and all i wanted to know if it showed pulmonary issues so I could just know if i had to see dr. But you reassure me that its fine.

So I had an echocardiogram a year ago. And this ekg recently. But none of the doctors seem worried about it. This ekg does not show ischemia correct?

Your ECG findings are nonspecific:

Detailed Answer:
Your ECG findings are nonspecific. No ischemia could be confirmed based only on those ECG findings.

Let me know in case of any further questions.

I would explain as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello again, dear Nancy!

Regarding ST depression, which is down leveling of ST segment from the baseline on ECG, it may be found in several situations (like cardiac ischemia, pulmonary hypertension, anemia, etc.), but sometimes when slightly altered even in apparently normal individuals like you are.

Bifid P wave is mostly seen in mitral valve stenosis, but as you confirmed a normal cardiac ultrasound it is not the case.

If you could upload your echo report here for a direct review and a second professional opinion?

Feel free to ask me again in case of any further questions.

Questions I want answered by you:
1. St depression is not pulmonary embolism correct?
2. I dont have mitral stenosis?
3. What is pulmonary hypertension? I do not have high blood pressure.
4. I have attached my echo report for you

Let me rephrase my questions:
St depression is not correlated with Pulmonary embolism correct? I know you told me my ekg did Not show pulmonary embolism.
My echo is attached and i was told by many doctors that my echo was fine.
I know i do not have mitral stenosis at all!
And i do not have pulmonary hypertension because my blood pressure is always good.

Brief Answer:
Nothing abnormal:

Detailed Answer:
You are right!

Your echo findings are within normal ranges. No pulmonary hypertension, no mitral stenosis, nothing abnormal from the reports.

So, relax! We may now be sure no structural cardiac abnormalities are evident.
