Thanks for using the Ask a Doctor service.
I would need you to explain what you mean by green spots on sperms. Certainly you cannot see sperms with bare eyes. So I do not understand how you would see any color on them. In case you have seen something on some report, I would urge you to upload it.
I would await your response before I can comment further.

I masturbated around 2 weeks ago and when i ejaculated there was greenish specks/spots in my semen. I then did it a day or so later and there was a little less of the spots/specks, then I did it again the following day and they were gone. I waited a few more days and did it again yesterday and they came back and there were more greenish specks/spots back again in my semen. I%E2%80%99m now concerned/worried. Im not sure if thats a bacteria or something. I dont feel sick though.
Brief Answer:
No cause for concern. Possibly due to dietary factors.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the clarification. So what you mean to say is that your semen looked greenish and this discoloration gradually cleared off. Now, this greenish discoloration could be due to two broad factors, diet or an infection of the prostate. Diet can lead to changes in the color of semen, in particular the green color. This is more likely as it cleared off in a day. It could also have been due to prostatitis or an infection of the prostate but that is less likely since you are not exhibiting signs of the disease. In that case I would say that you have no reason to worry.

so i had some lower back pain and tiny bit of abdomin discomfort yesterday. I masturbated last night and the green specks/spots are now a brownish color, but there wasnt as many. ive attached a pic. im thinking its prostatis. will it go away on its own? Is there any supplements i can take? thanks for your help.
Brief Answer:
Proper investigation needed
Detailed Answer:
In order to confirm whether you have prostatitis, the following tests need to be done:
* urine test for routine microscopy and culture sensitivity
* blood for count, CRP and prostate specific antigen (PSA)
You need to visit a doctor with the reports so that he can proceed with:
* physical examination of your stomach area (abdomen)
* physical examination of your prostate called a digital rectal examination (DRE), to feel for anything that's unusual, and to check its size
Supplements will not help.
