Question: What does it mean to have a 6 beat wide complex tachacardia on a one month heart monitor.. it only occurred once.. my doctor thought it might be an artifact can they determine that by looking at the rhythm strips from the monitor? He claims it was benign.. but I am concerned.. should I be? The only other thing it showed was pac and a few pvcs.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I understand your concern and would explain that reviewing the recorded ECG strips could help clarify if this is a real arrhythmic event or an artifact. The difference is quite obvious on the ECG pattern.

Please could you upload the ECG strip showing such finding? I would be glad to review it for a second professional opinion.

I remain at your disposal in case of further questions!

Wishing all the best,
