Brief Answer:
Prescription and your statements do not match

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Though you are unfit according to criteria and prescription, both eyes have a total of 4.25.As the required limit is 4,so you don't qualify.
There is a way out.If by reducing spherical or cylindrical power by .25, you are stt6/6,each eye separately then you qualify.
Contact a local optetian to check that by reducing.,25, which combination gives you 6/6 vision.
Do get back to me in case of any further query in this regard.

Sir , at present the glass which I am using ( -1.75 sph and -1.5 cyl both the eyes) is not having any big issue for vision. I am using it since May 2013 . I checked my eyes in Oct 2015 and advised to use the same glass. But I have just did a normal check up before 2 days and got such result that the power exceeded to this value. Is it possible that myopia can be worsen after being constant for 2.5 years at this age ???? ( my age-37).... I am attaching the previous glass prescription....
Will it harm my eyes or deteriorate the eye power if I use the previous glass (because it is not creating any problems for me)....
If I use the previous glass will the visual acuity be 6/9 and can I be fit according to the given criterion for the physical exam ????

Brief Answer:
Get new prescription or glasses

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I will not advise you to go fitness with old glass, aiming at a lower vision. Technically you may get through, but there can be an issue of distance and lighting of chart. So to make sure that you get through easily, get a new prescription or glass with.25 less power than the prescription given to us, where total is 4 and you see 6/6.
There is no harm in using your old glass as you are comfortable with that.
Power at your age is usually stabilized and doesn't increase mostly.

Sir I tested my eyes in another eye hospital .... There they (a para medical personal who tested my eyes with my previous glass said that some minor increase in the power which may not require change in glass if I am not having any problems).... I asked him that whether my Visual acuity is 6/9 with this previous glass or not ???? He replied that it is better than 6/9....then the doctor ( only put some light in my eyes but didn't say me to read the letters) said that it's ok.... what should I do now ???? Should I test it again or use the previous glass????
Now am I technically fit for the service with this ????

Brief Answer:
Get another opration.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I am putting a lot of importance to this prescription.Better than 6/9 is not good enough for me.I personally would like you to have a prescription indicating the best vision you could have with say a combination of 2.5/1.5one eye and 3.25/0.75 in the other. This brings us to a total of 4 as criteria given for eligibility.
Technically you are o k even now,Still I don't want a temporary rejection due to some illumination or distance issues, when you are not able to read on the chart. So if you can see better, why not to have the confidence of being 100%.
