Brief Answer:
This is borderline test

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Growth hormone levels are borderline. Normal in men is <2ng/ml. One reading is not enough to establish any diagnosis or to even worry about it. To confirm high levels, a mean of many fasting growth hormone levels need to be done. A glucose tolerance test followed by measurement of blood sugar and growth hormone levels after 2 hrs can also aid in diagnosis.

High levels maybe associated with conditions like acromegaly. Now in acromegaly also it has been observed that growth hormone levels may vary despite the symptoms.

In presence of any symptoms or past medical history, it needs to be correlated accordingly.

Kindly send me such details so that I am better able to help you.
