Question: I have had my full body check up and triglycerides is slightly higher i.e. 174 mgdl. Kindly suggest

Hello,

I think your triglycerides are slightly elevated. You may need to do some diet changes and increase physical activity to bring them back to normal. Reduce high fat foods like red meat and diary products. Choose white meat such chicken breast, fish, turkey, low fat diary products. more fruits and vegetables. Increase physical activity at least one hour per day.

Also, if any medicine is required, let me know.
Moreover, my RBC is 4.45 millions/cmm and MCH is 32.6 picogram.
Cholesterol is 233 mg/dl and VLDL cholesterol is 34.8 mg/dl

Please suggest any medication if required

Hello,

MCH and RBC are normal. Cholesterol is elevated and I think taking fish oil omega 3 supplements will not help to reduce them. I think you may need Cholesterol lowering medications such Atorvastatin. Also, keep a low fat diet and increase physical activity.
