Brief Answer:
Are you alcoholic?

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

In a asymptomatic patient rise of only single enzyme is significant only when the levels are elevated to three time the upper normal limits.
Normally, AST levels in your blood are low. However in case our liver is damaged, it puts more AST into your blood, and and levels rise. But as in your case only AST is elevated a ultrasound or CT scan of liver should be done.
If its normal nothing has to be done.
Are you alcoholic or smoker?
Are you on any medicines?

I am not an alcoholic. I have no known heart problem. I have been having severe abdominal pain. With and without diarrhea. It started this year, maybe Dec. With dry heaves, I have not had them for a while now. It can wake me out of sleep or just relaxing with no symptoms. However my stomach is very sensitive to some foods that I never was before. I have Parkinson's, bleeding under my skin arms mostly. Quite severe at times. I am not on blood thinners. Pills for depression, anxiety, tremors, dystonia,

Follow up answer.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

As said by you; You are on Pills for depression, anxiety, tremors, dystonia.
All these medications are metabolized by liver therefore causing toxicity to liver leading to elevation of enzymes.
Start taking milk of thistle daily. It's a liver rejuvenating agent and would help in recovery of liver.
Take a high complex carbohydrate, lean protein and low fat based diet for 1month.
Things would settle down in 4 weeks.
