What Does Late Periods And Negative Pregnancy Test After Modus Usage Indicate?

Question: Hi Doctor, my last period was on 15th March and when I visited doctor after on 17th April(I did not got periods for April ) , he told that there is a cyst and prescribed modus 10 mg to start on 25th April for 5 days. I completed the course. Today is 2nd May and I did not yet got my periods. I did my HPT on 22nd April, which came negative. What might be the reason for not getting period.

Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

The reason you are not getting pregnancy is due to modus as it contains hormones which alter your pregnancy cycle.

But do not worry as you will get periods in 7 days. And also from next month your cycles will be regular.

But do get repeat sonography after 1 month for seeing the size of the cyst.
