Brief Answer:
Report mentions your wife has normal ovary
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXX,
Thanks for writing in back with an update.
The ovary mentioned in the report refers to your wife. These are also checked in the 12 weeks scan by many doctors.
The ovary of the baby is not visualised during scanning and no such mention is made in reports at any time.
The ovary of the mother is looked for during the 12 week scan and it is mentioned in the report. This is a normal procedure.
In the 20 weeks scan there is no need of checking the ovaries of your wife. The gender of your baby is never mentioned in the report. The ovaries in a baby are very small to be seen on scan at any time before birth
Hope your query is answered.
