Brief Answer:
Yes, milk intake is associated with it

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Mucus can occur with either constipation or diarrhea, as part of the stool. Bacterial overgrowth and food allergies are also associated with excessive mucus in stool or alone. It can also occur in case of a bacterial infection, anal fissure, IBS and colitis. If none of these conditions are present and there is simply moderate to excess mucus then it can be related to dairy products intake like milk. Try to limit the amount of milk, wheat , greasy and spicy food in your diet for good results. Take plenty of water daily. If the problem persist despite discontinuing milk for a week or so then you may get a stool examination including ova and parasite, to look for other possible causes.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
