What Does My CT PNS Scan Test Report Indicate?
Question: I have gone through CT scan of PNS. Can you please look at the reports and advise how to proceed.

Symptoms: Heaviness at the back of the head. Lack in concentration, it feels like my head is moving while I am sitting or standing still.

1. The images show mild mucosal thickening in the sinuses. This should respond to medical therapy and saline nasal washes.
2. There is a bony spur posteriorly in the septum which is mildly deviated, but
Radio-frequency turbinate reduction should work for you.
3. Endoscopic sinus surgery is not indicated. There seem to be some mild sinusitis in the frontal area, but the films should be seen on a viewer. At the most, Balloon Sinuplasty may be an option.
