Brief Answer:
Need an appointment for an ENT Specialist & Surgeon

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank You for contacting HCM. My name is Dr Muhammad Ali Rauf & i will look into your problem.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. The image you have shared appears to be he report of CT-PNS. Report shows disease of maxillary and ethmoid air cells. It is termed as sinusitis. You need to visit hospital and get an appointment for a consultant ENT Specialist. Do take this report with you when visiting. He will examine you and will give antibiotic prescription which will hopefully resolve the disease.
"Osteomas" are benign mature bony growths, seen almost exclusively in bones preformed in membrane (e.g. the skull). They usually are asymptomatic and causes no harm until or unless they increase in size and cause compression symptoms. Osteomas are benign and only require excision if they cause adjacent complications or mass effect (functional or cosmetic impairment). For this you need to visit hospital and get an opinion from a Surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!

I went to a specialist and he is the one who did put me under antibiotic to hepefully resolve this problem. I just received the reading yesterday and didnt get a chance to talk to my doctor about it.
Is it going to go away with antibiotic or it will need something else?
Also the bone i asked two doctors and both said nothing to worry about; did this ct scan confirm that?
What is compression sysmptoms?
Thank you so much Dr.

Brief Answer:
Yes it will resolve with antibiotic cover

Detailed Answer:
hello

thank you for the followup query. Yes sinusitis will resolve with antibiotic cover. You need not to worry. Compression symptoms means that that osteoma increases in size and causes commpression on adjacent soft tissue that will ultimately result in production of symptoms(due to compression). In most cases osteoma is left as such untill or unless its causes problem.

Thank You

Brief Answer:
No need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hello

As you have it for 12 yrs and no change occurred in its severity so i would suggest you not to worry and leave it as such. if it causes cosmetic problem then you can discuss with your treating surgeon for removal.

Thank you
