Also, there is a right renal cyst MSG 2.8 cm. A tiny non-obstructive calculus is identified in right kidney

Detailed Answer:
hello and thanks for sending the question.
I reviewed the findings of your CT scan. These are what we consider nonspecific findings. None of the findings on the CT scan appear to indicate that there is any type of worrisome process going on.
I imagine your doctor performed the CT scan for a particular reason such as shortness of breath or coughing.
The calculus that they noted in the kidney is a sensually a kidney stone which is very common. There was also a cyst which the radiologist noted and this is also very common to see you as well as an incidental finding.
Overall the CT scan is essentially normal.
I would encourage you to continue to follow up with your doctor for further discussion.
Sincerely,
Dr. Galamaga

Detailed Answer:
This is a small stone but still large enough to cause pain. The urology referral is reasonable to discuss any additional options to facilitate clearing the stone.
The cyst is a benign finding and nothing to be alarmed about. Review that with your doctor for final recommendations.

Detailed Answer:
Its possible for a stone to cause some discomfort in the area of the groin. If this were a hernia you would likely have some swelling associated with this as well.

Detailed Answer:
The stone would not cause swelling. If you feel swelling in this area then a physical exam should be done to assess whether or not you might have a small hernia.
