What Does My CT Scan Report Indicate?

Need more information.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking Health care magic forum.
I have gone through your query. I need more information. Whether the thickening is focal or segmental or diffuse? What is the depth of thickening?. Also whether it symmetrical? If you send your whole CT report then it will be more helpful in analysing.
Also i need information about your present and past conditions. Do you had any history bowel disorders like inflammatory bowel disease or crohns disease. Are you having any weight loss? Or other bowel symptoms like diarrhoea or vomiting other than fullness? Any history of bowel disease in your family? Are you having any chronic disease like diabetes? Any extra intestinal symptoms like intermittent fever , arthritis or lymphadenopathy (lymph node enlargement) ?
Please send all these information so that i can analyse properly.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

Most likely mucosal edema which can be due to Liver problems or IBD.

Hi
Thank you for your follow up query.
As you having a regular mucosal thickening of small and bowel it can be from benign condition mostly. Most likely it is mucosal edema which can be due to Liver problems like alcoholic fatty liver or Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
As you having a 10 year history of alcohol intake , you should go for a liver function test and ultrasound examination of liver which will help to rule out liver problems.
If that is clear then inflammatory bowel disease or infectious conditions should be ruled out. A colonoscopy and biopsy might be required in such case.
A complete blood count should be done to rule out any haematological disorders also which can give such presentation rarely.
A consultation with a gasteroenterologist and regular follow is well appreciated.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.

If investigations are fine then symptomatic therapy will benefit you.

Hi
Thank you for your follow up query.
If all investigations are normal then symptomatic therapy will benefit you. In such case if you were my patient i would recommend prokinetics like itopride and proton pump inhibitors like rabeperazole.
Wishing you to get better soon.Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
