What Does My CT Scan Report Indicate?
Upload the CT images. Additional tests if not done previously.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. If you upload the Sinus CT images, I will be able to give you an accurate assessment. It is better to rule out sinusitis before the biopsy is done.
2. I am assuming that you have had a course of treatment with high doses of steroids before the biopsy was planned.
3. It is good to hear that your ESR is within normal limits (though this is not in favor of Temporal Arteritis). Have Liver Function Tests (LFTs), C Reactive Protein (CRP), Platelet Count (PC), routine blood investigation and an Ultrasound (USG) been done?
4. A decade old injury is unlikely to be the cause.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
Basically at this point just want a look at these images as relates to sinus and I very much appreciate your help. Apparently the first image had not loaded previously.
The sinuses seen in the CT images are normal.
