What Does My CT Scan Report Indicate?

Question: I had a CT scan done 3 weeks ago for large tonsils. Which state they are symmetrical. Now one is larger and I have a bump on my neck by my muscle could this be cancer?
Brief Answer:
There is no cause for worry.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. From the reports, this seems to be chronic tonsillitis.
2. Level 2 nodes include the jugulodigastric lymph node which is considered normal up to 15 mm. (Most other lymph nodes in the neck are considered normal up to 10 mm).
3. A USG (ultrasound) guided FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology) will help settle the diagnosis.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.
Regards.

Did you see the picture of my tonsils? Do they look like cancer? .. And the lump on my neck just got here I didn't have it before
Brief Answer:
Both images are of the CT report.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1.Both the attached images are of the CT report.
2. The swelling in the neck is usually noticed suddenly by the patient. There is no cause for alarm. This is common. It is usually the JD node.
3. This does not seem to be cancer. Upload an image of your tonsils. Get the FNAC done if this does not respond to a course of medication.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
