What Does My CT Scan Report Indicate?
He will be seen by a Neurologist the 1st week in April. What does all of this mean and is each condition related? He also has been set up with a birth to 3 group who will come into their home and try to help him with his crawling, standing, etc. He has great control of this legs and they seem to be very strong. But the few times he will stand up on us, he wants to bend his knees and sit after a few seconds. He is a very pleasant and happy baby otherwise with a good appetite! :-) Thank you for any information you may share!

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Your grandson has developmental delay and that is to be taken seriously. The underlying neurological cause is also apparent although the scope of intervention might be limited to shunt placement, if required. But otherwise, he needs developmental therapy. This is very important and you need to see a developmental pediatrician for the same. The child needs certain exercises to be administed daily. He possibly has hypertonia or increased muscle tone which needs corrective therapy. This is interfering with his ability to achieve the milestones.
I would insist you not to take it lightly. Early detection and early intervention is the key to a favorable outcome.
