What Does My CT Scan Report Indicate?

default
Posted on Mon, 15 May 2017
Question: Hi Doc,
Before 1.5 years i had a forceful ejaculation, at that time had no pain. After two days, had haematospermia. After that incident had slight pain whenever i had sexual arousal and while stimulation and after ejaculation. But haven't told the doctor about forceful ejaculation, told him as Haematospermia. Ultrasound report came normal.

But now the pain had worsened after ejaculating, went again to the Doctor. He said Prostatitis and recommended for a CT scan.

But i doubt whether any other parts or organs or tubes would have been damaged due to this like Bulbourethral gland, Cowpers gland, vas deferens, seminal vesicles or any other reproductive organ or path is injured or infected or any nerve disability.

CT SCAN pelvis was also normal.

Pls guide me whether the procedure is right? Now whenever i get sexual feeling i am getting pain mainly in the right hand side pelvis area.

Pls help me.

Regards
Sridhar

Brief Answer:
It seems the injury got healed and there is little to worry

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

I am glad to know that you have undergone CT scan pelvis and ruled out major pathologies associated with pain during stimulation and following ejaculation.

Considering the normal CT scan it can be stated that there is no involvement of major structures and if there was any the structure has been healed over the last one and half years and there is little scar if any.

It is possible that the scar which resulted from injury causes bloody semen is responsible for occasional pain during intercourse and afterwards.

Considering the healing I feel we need to distract from the pain during intercourse. It is important to state that excessive attention paid by you is part of problem and we need to remove that part. I understand that you are worried about it but there is need to stop worrying at the earliest.

I hope this helps you.

If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
