Spots and calcification on bony prominence of spine may be due to many causes like chondroma, chondroblastoma etc.Multiple myeloma generally causes dark, lytic lesions.
It is important to know more description regarding clear spots like whether it is lytic(dark)or blastic (bright)lesions.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Sorry for replying late
Major differential diagnosis in your age with multiple lytic vertebral lesions are metastasis or multiple myeloma.
Other minor possibilities are multiple focal infection and brown tumour(hyperparathyroidism).
Your condition need proper evaluation. It is important to search for primary lesions. You may need ultrasound of abdomen, breast examination, chest X-ray (PA view).
You may also need blood tests like routine hemogram, beta microglobuin estimation, serum protein electrophoresis, free light chain assay, renal function test, calcium estimation etc to exclude multiple myeloma.Skull X-ray (lateral view)is also important.Punched out lesions in skull are characteristics of multiple myeloma.
