I am a 54 years old person . I am very fit and run 6 kms every day. I have been diagonised with essential Hypertention since 1980. It will be kind of you if you can explain what my report states Thanks.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX
Thanks for writing to HCM
According to reports,
1.You have sinus bradycardia.Sinus bradycardia is a condition when heart rate is below 60 beats/min.This is expected finding as you do heavy work in the form of running.
2.Slight ST depression can be ignored. It is significant if it is more than 1 mm in V5-V6 leads or 1.5 mm in AVF lead or lead III.
3.Counterclockwise rotation refer to change in the electrical activity in a horizontal plane through the heart.Marked counter clockwise Rotation is related to long standing hypertension. It is mainly due to sclerotic lesions in the thoracic aorta which develop due to chronic hypertension. It doesn't require any treatment or intervention.
4.Left Axis deviation is also due to hypertension and this is expected finding.
So,findings are expected in your case and you only require controlled blood pressure.
You should continue your daily activity.
Get well soon.
Hope i have answered your query.
Further queries are most welcome.
