What Does My ECG Report Indicate?

Question: I'm a medical underwriter from Bajaj Allianz. We had received a proposal of a client aged 56 yrs with clean medical history and we had advised our routine medical tests in view of the age. As per the ECG report from the lab physician, there is "Poor progression of R wave in anterior leads " . I also doubt H/o Old MI in pattern v1-v3. Kindly suggest your expert opinion on this ECG reporting which I had attached along this mail,

Not at all suggestive of old infarction.

Detailed Answer:
Hi There,
Thanks for query.

Normal e.k.g suggestive of left ventricular hypertrophy.
R wave progress is normal.
V1 TO V3 shows rSR pattern (before S wave there is a small r wave which your doctor is missing).

Nothing wrong with ekg except that there can be left ventricular hypertrophy.
An echo can be done to confirm LVH.
