What Does My ECG Test Report Indicate?

Posted on Tue, 13 Oct 2015
Question: I had asked a question yesterday regarding my ECG showing 611 T Abnormality (Flat T) seeking advice from a cardiologist for medication and follow up. For answer that I had sought from the cardiologist, all I have is the question returned to me. I now also have an image of the ECG with me. Can I get an answer to the question and NOT the question itself returned as answer ?? Thanks in advance. I can upload the image of the ECG.

Brief Answer:
Normal variant ECG

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I understand your concern.

I have gone through your query in detail.

This ECG here is within normal limits.

In the absence of any chest symptoms, this ECG can be considered a normal variant.

Flat T waves usually signify low potassium levels.

Hence, it will be better if you get a serum electrolyte profile and update me with results.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
