Brief Answer:
A shadow is different density from surroundings.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
I can understand your concern.
A shadow in MRI is different density of the part as compare to surrounding tissue.
It is very difficult to guess this terminology.
Even the doctor who has seen the MRI can not say more than that.
It has to be further evaluated like blood test and biopsy for a confirmed diagnosis.
Please wait for your doctors report , he will let you know in due course of time, as and when it will be confirmed to him.
Hope I have answered your query.
If any thing else you are welcome.
Good luck.
