What Does My MRI Scan Report Indicate?

Question: Please review the attached 2 MRI reports and advise the odds of being benign.

If after the first follow up at 6 months, they are stable does it lead to that they are benign and stay that way?

Is it possible to classify the cyst from the MRI?

Would this be anything that could affect me living my normal life span?

Your opinion please.

Hi and thank you for asking on HCM!

I read carefully all your concerns and medical data and I can say as follows;

1. You have renal cyst classified as Bosniak category 2F. It means that it is a benign cyst but it has 5% risk of malignancy.
This is why at your case I would recommend to follow up your cyst with abdominal ultrasound or MRI every 6 month.
2. MRI helps to determine dhe characteristics and the nature of the renal cyst .
It is the diagnostic test of choice in cush cases.

otherwise the fact that it is the same size even after 6 month is really a good sign.

Hi back,

With regards to pancreatic cysts to my opinion you can do EUS (endoscopic ultrasound ).
Eus helps to better determine the nature of the pancreatic cysts and helps too to take biopsy from the cyst.
