What Does My TSH Level Indicate As Per The Thyroid Test Result?

default
Posted on Tue, 20 May 2014
Question: I'm feeling frustrated because I feel like I'm not being listened to because my results are in the "normal range". Please help me interpret my results:

TSH- 2.29 (taken in afternoon after lunch)
Free T3- 2.80 (range is 2.18-3.98)
Free T4- 0.84 (range is 0.76-1.46)

Symptoms: cold all the time, dry skin, fatigue/sluggish, hx of miscarriage at 10 weeks

We are trying again for a baby, and we want to make sure that hypothyroidism is not a problem here... can you please let me know if these results are acceptable, or if I should get a 2nd opinion? Thanks!

Sorry, this doesn't really answer my question as I am being told I have no problem, so they won't check my antibodies...
Can you please respond to the results I already posted above?
Thanks

Brief Answer:
biocemistry report is in normal range.

Detailed Answer:
Dear ma'm, hi! see if you want a simple direct reply, that you can see for yourself. thr report you have posted is in normal range as per the lab cut off. you do not need an endocrinologist to tell you that. you can see it for yourself. if you go by this report things are all normal, thyroid is fine . you can't blame thyroid for anything by this report. this completes your answer. but my dear, report and patient may differ. you have symptoms suggesting something else. therefore i suggested going beyond this report, to confirm thyroid normalcy. i reconfirm, the report you have is a normal thyroid status. if we believe this there is no problem. regards!
