Brief Answer:
Reassure yourself and avoid alcohol

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for writing in

Your USG is absolutely normal, small left renal cyst can be kept as it is

CBC report has been by mistake replaced by a VIP invoice

LFT is normal with Gilberts syndrome bilirubin of 1.6 is acceptable

There is issue with the enzyme related to bilirubin metabolism so it results in raised bilirubin levels

No specific treatment is required

A word of caution for any patient with liver disease is to avoid alcohol

Hope this helps

dear Doc,
thnx for ur reply & sorry for attaching wrong document. I am again attaching
my CBC report
Please sir, give me specificlly your opinion on the following :
1. Is my lever healthy & normal
2. why my platelet count remains on the lower side 85,000 to 1,00,000
for last so many years though ,without any adverse indications
3. My blood urea is 14.9 ref range 8.0 - 23.0
creatinine 1.35 0.60 - 1.30
report dt 20th sept 2014
Is my creatinine levels within acceptable range or do I need some medications for that
I am taking Amlopres AT in mor. & Amlpres 5mg at night
for my hypertenssion which is under control
5. My doc today prescribed LIBRIUM 40 B/D for two weeks
and PEXEP CR 25 mg OD for two weeks
He has further advised CT for raised SGPT/SGOT Ratio of 3
as my LFT & USG ARE NORMAL ,I don`t have any history lever disorder
don`t hv any anxiety problem only hv heart burn for which i am taking SOMPAZ D 40 & am feeling better i am not a regular drinker
Dear Doc, i am totally confused as per the above ..pld advice me
i hv not yet started any of the above med or tests
CT Scan is a costly proposition so i need ur advice
I hope u will realize my position & give me ur valued opinion
regards

Brief Answer:
See a hematologist

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXX

Thanks for your followup

Your liver is apparently normal with gilbert's syndrome
For your low platelet count Thrombocytopenia you need to see a hematologist
Renal function is apparently normal on higher end, keep a watch on creatinine level
Continue with Sompraz D, If you do not have anxiety or stress you may withdraw Librium and Pexep CR
Ask your doctor the indication of CT - get back to me with that - till then continue the treatment and reassure yourself

Wishing you a healthy life ahead

Brief Answer:
Wait and get it again

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for your followup

I feel you should wait for some time and get it done again after 3-6 weeks

If three consecutive reports show the same elevation, may be you should see a qualified gastroentrologist and then decide

Hope this helps
