What Does My X-ray Report Indicate?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: Does "No Pulmonary Masses or Consolidations are seen", mean there is not cancer in the lungs when stated in a PA and Lateral chest x-ray report? Thank You.
Brief Answer:
Chest x ray clear
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Chest x ray is just an initial investigation and it may miss some times, but ideally a mass or consolidation triggers further work up. If the x ray is normal like your is, i am sure there is nothing to worry about, cancer is a rare finding and should not be speculated from a simple x ray . Talk to your GP and let them correlate your symptoms clinically. Your x ray is fine and doe snot indicate any pathology.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
