What Does My X-ray Report Indicate?

Completely harmless in most of the cases.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting HealthcareMagic.
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
Bronchovascular markings(BVM) are nothing but markings of blood vessels that supply the lungs.
BVM is increased in many conditions ranging from mild lung infections to heart diseases. It is a harmless finding in most of the cases and nothing to worry unless you have symptoms like breathlessness or a cough.
Increased Bronchovascular marking is not a diagnosis, it is an X-ray finding. It has to be correlated clinically to arrive at a diagnosis. If the radiologist reports increased BronchoVascularMarkings and clinically you don't have any symptoms, it can be simply ignored and the film should be taken as normal.
As of now, no treatment is required. You can take repeat X-ray after three to four weeks to check whether it persist or not. If you are having the same finding again, you can go for a CT scan to rule out other lung conditions.
Wishing you good health.
Thanks.
