Brief Answer:
Your finding(left pleural thickening)is a benign finding.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Your finding(left pleural thickening)is a benign finding.
Generally mild pleural thickening doesn't require any treatment.
It is generally due to past healed infection.
Infection naturally heals by fibrosis and adhesion.

It may require surgical treatment if it is so severe that it compromises pulmonary functions.

I don't think you need second opinion, you have a benign and simple finding.

Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your query.
Further queries are most welcome.

Take Care
