What Does My Biopsy Report Indicate?
organizing fat necrosis, fibrosis, chronic inflammation, and reactive
changes. Prominent perivascular lymphocytosis is also present. What this means?
Chronic inflammation with fibrosis of Fatty lesion/ Under Investigation
Detailed Answer:
Brief Ans-Chronic inflammation with fibrosis of Fatty lesion/ Under Investigation
Hi,Thanks for your query in this regard.
I studied your query with a scanty information.
I reviewed your query and found it that it seems to be a Histopath report mostly.
Dear, unless you give more information on the complaints you are having,it is very difficult to reply on this blind query, with scanty information. This is because there are many possibilities to your query and which one is applicable to you, could be replied only after more detailed information.
Hence I would need more details about the disease condition as follows-
What are the complaints you have?
From which site this tissue is studied by Histo-pathology Biopsy?
How long you were suffering from this illness?
What for you did this histopath study?
How did this health issue started with You?
Based on the facts given-It means that -there is chronic inflammatory lesion of the fatty tissue with Vascular chronic inflammation. It could be due to Intra-Muscular Lipoma/Lipo-sarcoma/ Lipo-blastoma and is not predictable and replied.
HenceFor pin pointing on the exact cause of it-I would need more information.
Await your information soon,to be replied in next session.
Welcome for any further query in this regard.
Good Day!!

Lump in Left Groin with Rapid Growth/Under Investigation
Detailed Answer:
Brief Ans-Lump in Left Groin with Rapid Growth/Under Investigation
Clinical and Treatment- Impression-
Possible FibroMyofibroblastoma of the Inguinal Canal with Round Ligamental Lump in left Groin-is the clinical Possibility in your case.
Surgical Excision with Wide Margin Excision -till the final recurrence comes under control is the treatment of this -Locally recurrent Lump in Left Groin.
Hi,Thanks for your query to HCM.
I studied your query regarding the Left Groin Lump, which has grown fast in last 15 days time.
Give following information as follows-
Since how long back you felt a lump in left Groin?
How was that lump-Hard / or soft? With pain on pressure or painless?
What was the size of the lump when it was biopsied 15 days back?
Was it fixed or movable from skin or from the surrounding subcutaneous tissues?
What was the USG / report if done?
My Impression on the Histopath Report-when correlated with the Lump in Left Groin-
i-The lump which was biopsied shows- mature fibrofatty Lobulated tissue-which is suggestive of Benign Fibro-Lipomatous Lump ,due to presence of Mature Fibro-Fatty tissue
ii-with extensive organizing fat necrosis, fibrosis, -Indicating fast Fatty tissue growth causing extensive organising fat necrosis-suggestive of Fast growing Fatty tissue Lump of sarcomatous nature,as there is extensive fat -necrosis with resultant fibrosis.
iii-chronic inflammation, and reactive changes.-These indicate chronic inflammatory reaction which is post-necrosis, resulting ultimately in to Fibrosis.
The reactive changes in the tissue indicates the speedy growth of the chronic inflammatory tissue in this Lump in the left Groin.
iv- Prominent perivascular lymphocytosis-indicating the chronic T cell perivascular aggregation-suggestive of intense T-Cell activity -suggesting fast sarcomatous fatty tissue being attacked as foreign cell mass with resultant extensive fatty necrosis in the given lump in Left Groin.
-Clinico-Pathological Correlation with the Left Groin Lump-
Based on Review of this Histo-path Report and correlating it with a fast grown Lump in just 15 days period
Impression about the Left Groin lump-
This lump which seems to be a FibroFatty fast growing Sarcomatous growth ? MOstly -Lipo-Sarcoma Lump, with extensive fatty necrosis with reactive fibrosis in the lump tissue.
In short it seems to be Locally Malignant / Or and restricted growth with potential to grow / recurr after excision.
LEADS-
Possible FibroMyofibroblastoma of the Inguinal Canal with Round Ligamental Lump in left Groin-is the clinical Possibility in your case.
Surgical Excision with Wide Margin Excision -till the final recurrence comes under control is the treatment of this -Locally recurrent Lump in Left Groin.
Hope this reply would help you to plan further treatment leads with your doctor.
Second Opinion from Surgical Oncologist and from Histopathologist, would give you the exact lead in planning treatment in your unusual case.
Welcome for any further query in this regard, which would be replied in next session.
Await more information about this left Groin Lumps.
