What Does My Blood Pressure Reading Indicate?
Question: What does a blood pressure reading of 121/90 mean? I feel a little bit dizzy when I walk.
Brief Answer:
it's normal
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
121/90mmHg is normal. The target levels of blood pressure in hypertensive patients are below 140 (systolic) and below 90 (diastolic) so 121/90 is not perfect but it is normal. I assume by looking at your drugs that you have atrial fibrillation and hypertension. If you feel dizzy when you stand from the recumbent position then this could be postural hypotension and your doctor should know about it, in order to reduce the dosage of your antihypertensive treatment.
