Thanks for the information.

Fever and throat pain indicate bacterial pharyngitis.Usually this will not cause burning on urination.This may either indicate poor water intake or associated urinary tract infection.We can treat the infection with antibiotics and antipyretics for 5-7 days.
In such cases,I usually give antibiotics like Amoxicillin+Clavulonate/Levofloxacin/Azithromycin.As you have associated burning on urination,Levofloxacin will be better for you(if not pregnant).Your doctor will guide in this.

Meanwhile,avoid COLD drinks.Do frequent warm saline gargles.Drink plenty of oral fluids.Have a light diet and take enough bed rest.You can take Paracetamol 500 mg thrice daily for temporary relief of fever.

Regarding blood report,there is nothing to worry except that you have mild iron deficiency anaemia.For this you can take hematinic tablets(Iron+Folic acid) once daily for 2 to 3 months.Also include plenty of green leafy veges and fruits on your diet.Also there is increased proportion of neutrophils(expected in any bacterial infection)

Hi dear,

I understand your concern.
Right now,the clinical picture is not suggestive of dengue.
Dengue is usually associated with severe body pain(although some body pain can be there with any infection in our body).
In blood report,there will be increased lymphocytes,and not neutrophils.Also,low platelet count is common.You have normal platelet count and increased neutrophils(suggestive of bacterial infection rather than viral infection like dengue).

Anyhow,if fever persist after 2 to 3 days of antibiotics,we can do a dengue serology test.
