Brief Answer:
No blood cancer, might be mild urine infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Following are the abnormal values in your reports.
1. RDW marginally high at 14.3
2. WBC count 11100 mildly above normal.
3. Lymphocytes 18% is slightly below normal.
4. Urine leucocytes 5-6 is borderline high.
5. Urine RBC occasional is acceptable.
6. Epithelial cells 3-4 is normal.

I have worked in a cancer hospital and can confirm that you do not have any feature of blood cancer from your reports.

At most you might be suffering from a mild infection. Slight urinary infection might have been there in recent times.

I hope your ultrasound and CT scans are normal.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Brief Answer:
Please attach Chest Xray,ultrasound,CTscan reports

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

I have worked for many years as a radiologist in a well known cancer institute in XXXXXXX and want to help you as much possible but for that I need to review your old and new reports.

First I want to see any chest X ray, ultrasound or CT scan reports done in last 6 months or earlier.

I am unable to find any CT scan report attached to this query. May I request you to please remove the new reports and attach any X ray, ultrasound scan, CT scan, or endoscopy report done in last 6 months.

For your decreased appetite, I need to see any of the above reports and then proceed with guiding you to the best of my ability.

Waiting for your reply.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Brief Answer:
Suspicious tumour like area in liver.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

Having seen the CT images attached by you, I find there is a tumour like area in the right lobe of liver. Since you have sent only venous phase images, I request you to please upload plain and delayed images and also share the report as issued by the CT scan centre. It is important to know what they have seen and commented upon after seeing the scan on a large screen monitor and measuring certain technical parameters like which done while reporting a CT scan.

Regarding loss of appetite, if it is suddenly after you read about WBC and blood cancer in google then you are having anxiety related stress. Please do not worry and let me know why you got the CT scan in April 2014 and what have your other doctors in XXXXXXX told you about it.

I am interested in knowing if you consulted any cancer hospital or got any needle test and biopsy done for the liver problem. If you have got any liver function test reports then that is also important.

You can remove your old reports and attach the new ones I have asked for and reply back with requested details please.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek

Brief Answer:
Suggested endoscopy stomach and thyroid function.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

The diagnosis of hemangiomas is agreed upon after having seen the CT images. This is a harmless condition if confirmed.

Continuing with your sudden loss of weight and decreased appetite, it is important to be sure that you are not under any type of mental stress at work or due to family problems.

Next I would like to know if you are having any stomach pain which is causing loss in appetite. There can be gastritis or ulcers in stomach which are not seen on CT scan. For this you might have to get an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy if you have not got it done earlier. This is a simple investigation in which a small device with camera is inserted through the mouth and pictures are taken and analyzed. This will show even the smallest cancer in stomach and you can get it done just to make sure that there is nothing wrong with the stomach.

If the endoscopy is normal then I would like to guide you through thyroid function tests. There are many causes of unexplained weight loss and it is best to consider conditions which are relevant to you.

Hope your query is answered.

Brief Answer:
Tiredness due to deficiency of sodium n potassium.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in with an update.

In earliest stages, cancers might not be well seen on CT scan abdomen. So if any patient is having symptoms like pain related to eating or problems relating to passing motions, then endoscopy is advised.

Earlier you feared blood cancer, I am confident that you do not have any blood cancer.

If there was any tiredness below hip then it can be due to muscle fatigue or because of deficiency of essential nutrients like sodium and potassium. This can happen due to decreased food intake. I suggest you start taking normal meals without any fear of cancer.

To avoid stress, please put your mind in other recreational activities and avoid being alone. Go on short walks or meet your friends. Listen to songs and read books of knowledge or interesting articles.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Dr.Vivek

Sir
Thanks for your advice. My Dr says they have diluted well the stomac and so there is no abnormality so there is no possibility of cancer in abdomen. Stress might have taken you and sir as you said small cancer means u say stage 2 will not be known in ct and it might require endoscopy. I was with this same fear 6 months back and i had flank pain in back hip and due to my compelsion i went for abdomen ct from that day pain dint bother me. Like that does my stress has made me feel low hungry. If i sit on my table to eat i eat a little but my mind is not stimulating me for going to eat. Stomac gives sounds to eat. This prob started 15 days back when i saw on net wbc elivated is a cause for blood cancer. That night i dint have good dinner next day also i was worried more. There started my stress and fear of cancer. If stomac cancer is there will there be body tiered ie in hip to toe and low appetite for early stage of cancer

Brief Answer:
Blood cancer is impossible.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in with an update.

It is understood that the stomach was well dilated with water during CT scan and it is clear to me. There was no cancer of stomach 6 months back.

The problem with WBC and blood cancer is not present in you. With your blood reports it is impossible that you have a blood cancer.

Stomach cancer will not cause tiredness from hip to toe.

Since it has been 6 months form April 2014 and in this duration, if you have not eaten well due to stress then small ulcers can develop in the stomach due to not eating properly. This needs to be looked for by endoscopy if you are having dull pains in the stomach. So I request you to please eat well otherwise there will be stomach ulcer due to fasting and irregularly timed meals. Rarely such ulcer can cause stomach cancer and that is why it is best not to ignore your meals.

Hope your query is answered.
