What Does My Blood Sugar Level Suggest?
Question: My blood sugar is around 72 to 74 two hours after eating. Is this ok?? Whenever I check it, it seems to be in the 70's or low 80's. Is that ok??
Brief Answer:
depends on hypogylcemic symptoms
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HealthcareMagic. .
Your post food sugar level is less. This usually seen in some people due to increased insulin in body as a part of genetic problem.
But this depends on your symptoms. If you dont have any problem because of your sugar level then no need to worry.
If you get symptoms like dizziness, increased heart rate, confusion, sweating etc after 2 to 3 hrs of having food then this needs treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. If any further queries are there I would love to help.

I have never been diagnosed with diabetes or hypoglycemia. Can someone run low and not be hypoglycemic?
Brief Answer:
possible
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Then no need to worry as you don't have diabetes nor suffered from hypoglycemic symptoms. Yes, it is possible that some people may have low sugar levels without any problems because that is maintained by its body. This is hereditary and some have high insulin release after high carbohydrate food.
Though you don't have any problem I suggest you to take frequent small meals or snacks inbetween your main meals to avoid any hypoglycemic problems.
