Posted on Mon, 15 Dec 2014
Question: Hi Doctor,

Thanks a lot for getting back to me. Transplantation has been done for my Mom. Its Day 13 from transplantation. Her cells seems to be growing. As of now WBC-1200 and Platelets 129000. Doctor told on Day 28 some test has to be taken and post that can be discharged.
Thanks a Lot Doctor for giving me all support and answers. I guess we are almost done, just another 2-3 weeks.
Kindly advice us regarding the things post discharge. Very important and mandatory things that we should follow.

Brief Answer:
everything seems in order

Detailed Answer:
Hi

It is nice to know that she had undergone transplantations and till now everything is fine.

Now it will be important to continue the immunosuppressives to prevent graft versus host disease. Be careful for infections too. Any fever, cough, loose stools, etc should be reported promptly to the treating team.

Also don't forget to followup with the doctor as advised.

All the best.

Regards
