What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

You have iron deficiency anemia ...check pregnancy by serum beta hcg test
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for contacting healthcaremagic for an opinion.
After having gone through the report, it is evident that you have IRON DEFICIENCY ANEMIA, though the hemoglobin levels are borderline as per XXXXXXX standards but the serum feritin levels are low and TIBC ( total iron binding capacity ) is high confirming IRON deficiency anemia.
Secondly there is no evidence in the report that indicates pregnancy. Pregnancy can only be confirmed by a urine pregnancy test after 7 days of missed period which if comes positive would indicate pregnancy.
Else, if you want a more sensitive test , then you should opt for SERUM BETA HCG LEVELS test. If the levels of hcg are more than 1 or high , that confirms pregnancy and if its less than 1 , then pregnancy is ruled out. This test can be performed even tomorrow and you need not wait for 7 days post missed periods for ascertaining the result.
I hope i have answered yoru query in detail,
wishing you good health,
regards

One thing i would like to know is it safe to be pregnant with iron deficiency anemia, Is anemia curable during pregnancy?
What additional precautions shall I take to save my pregnancy, if it is positive.....?
yes you can safely get pregnant at this report..ex
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
if you turn out to be positive for pregnancy then you can safely continue with pregnancy as iron and calcium tabs would be prescribed to you from second trimester till delivery and anemia can be improved easily.
At present continue on folic acid tab and review with the report.
regards.
