What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?
Means Hashimoto thyroiditis
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for your query at healthcaremagic.
I have seen your reports and your anti-tpo is > 1300. TSH is 6.9 which is also higher than normal. It means that you have hypothyroidism which is autoimmune in nature. More probably you have Hashimoto's thyroiditis or some chance that it may be Graves disease.
You will need to take thyroid supplements.
Now about Hashimoto's thyroiditis, autoimmune means that immunity attacks person's own body. In Hashimotos the immunity attacks the thyroid gland. There may be associated other disorders in which immunity is acting against other organs eg pernicious anemia. The thyroid gland may be enlarged and nodular. When started on thyroid supplements, the thyroid status needs to be reassessed every 8 weeks until dose and thyroid status is stabilized. After that it needs to be reassessed every 6 months.
Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

should i also have to take any medicine for imunity system
My opinion is to continue thyroid supplements only
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
There are many medicines used to suppress the immunity like steroids, azathioprine, methotrexate, cyclophosphamide, mycophenolate. Among these steroids and methotrexate are more commonly prescribed. Suppressing the immunity can result in infections. These medicines also have side-effects of their own. Thus we always have to weigh the risks and benefits.
I tend to suggest these medicines when the disorder is affecting many systems or there is sudden deterioration of the condition (acute attack). I think your case is not that bad and you do not need these medicines now.
You do need to take your thyroid supplements regularly and keep in touch with your endocrinologist. You should also take hygienic food and cleaner drinking water to improve your gut immunity.
Hope it helps.
