What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

Check out for a liver disease called hemochromatosis and hemosiderosis
Detailed Answer:
hi and thanks for the query
Iron levels in the blood could imply excessive destruction of red blood cells. this can also explain the anaemia.
Raised liver enzymes implies an inflammatory process in the liver. Hemochromatosis is a disease in wich a person can present with high blood iron and high liver enzymes. In hemisiderosis, due to excess destruction of red blood cells, iron generally located inside the red blood cell is now found in the outside and accumulates in tissues including the liver. Red blood destruction occurs mainly in the liver and spleen.
It might be of interest for your doctor to check out diseases that cause massive destruction of red blood cells. Special tests maybe needed and the expertise of the hematologist (blood specialist) and hepatogastroenterologist (liver disease specialist) could be more productive.
thanks and kind regards as I wish you the best of health.

Check mainly liver function, blood cholesterol lowering,
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,
Thanks for uploading the laboratory results and I have gone through them carefully. Slight raised anion gap at 21 should be very concerning and you should not be worried with this. Slightly raised white blood cell count with normal C reactive protein levels, a marker of inflammation or infection make us think you certainly do not have an infectious problem.
AST, ALT and alkaline phosphatase in your case are raised. These are markers that usually indicate if the liver is touched or not, Doing blood tests for viral hepatitis (Hepatitis B and C) would be very much welcome. I also suggest an abdominal ultrasound to rule out gall bladder stones.
Cholesterol levels are raised also and would require drugs to reduce accompanied by a dietary advice .
Thanks and kind regards and do not hesitate asking any further questions in case of need.
