Vit. B 12 deficiency can cause these all symptoms.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear ,
Welcome to the HCM.
As vitamin B12 is essential for making new cells and red cells ( blood) in the body .It is also very essential for brain cells and its mylination (the covering on nerves for passing signals and current).
So low haemoglobin (Megaloblastic anemia) ,headache ,tiredness ,and tingling symptons ,could be because of vitamin B 12 deficiency.
As your father is getting injections for B12 ,but it has to be checked every 3 months to see wether the right level is maintained.Since if it is not gotten from outside (in form of mutton, eggs ) or absorbed properly inside body ,then the time limit for storing vit 12 inside body is 3 months .So if there is absorption problem or a person is pure veg. Then the chances of deprived vit 12 increase and it needs to be replaced every 3 months.
For the calcium normal level ,vitamin D is very essential for its absorption and right usage in the body .As vitamin D can be replaced with medicines also but the main resource for that is Sun light. For that I would suggest that he gets early morning sun light for at least 15 minutes every day with supplements.
As if it would be some ear or throat problem then it would be fine to go to ENT especialist but what your father has symptoms needs to be checked under care of physician with proper diet.
Hopefully I answered your question, you may ask further without hesitation.
Regards,
Dr.Maheshwari

Low haemoglobin could be because of low B12.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
Dear the factors causing low haemoglobin could be poor diet, and low vitamin B12.As I said earlier thatB12 is essential for making red cells in body and if B12 is not maintained then it can cause abnormal red cells with different shape of cells and very large cells than normal ( megaloblastic).Thats why the anemia because of low B12 is called Megaloblastic anemia. The normal haemoglobin should be 13 to 15 at this age of male.If B12 will be maintained ,haemoglobin in red cells would also be maintained.
Regards.
