Brief Answer:
Viral infection is most probable cause of low platelets & high lymphocytes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

The blood reports show that the white blood cell count is 8300 which lies between the normal biological interval.
The number of lymphocytes is increased.
Elevated lymphocytes are seen in viral infections, chronic infections and inflammations.
The red blood cell count and hemoglobin are within normal biological interval.
The platelet count is diminished.
The normal range of platelets is between 1.5 lakh to 4 lakh.
Your platelets are very low only 20,000 per cubic millimeter.
Low platelet counts are seen in viral infections, bone marrow suppression or destruction of platelets within or outside the bone marrow.
Low platelet count with elevated lymphocyte count is suggestive of viral infection.
Associated tiredness may be due to viral infection.
All other parameters are normal.
Thus, I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and treatment.
If viral infection is the cause of low platelets and high lymphocytes then the parameters will come within normal range once the infection is cured.

Thanks and take care

Brief Answer:
The rash on palm is not conspicous enough for specific diagnosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
The rash on the palm is not conspicuous enough to diagnose any condition.
Viral infection is just one of the many possibilities for low platelets and high lymphocytes.
Since, viral infection is one of the common cause, it needs to be ruled out first.
Viral infections are characterized by fever, weakness, malaise, rash etc.
Some manifest with hemorrhagic fever as in case of dengue infection.
Treatment of almost all viral infections is symptomatic i.e. depending on the symptoms treatment is started.
So, you need not start any treatment yourself.
If you have any of the above mentioned symptoms, you may consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment (especially examination of the rash) and prescription of supportive treatment.
The blood tests may be repeated after a month or so.

Brief Answer:
The variation in platelets is acceptable. Lymphocytes can be followed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
The platelet count is within range.
A previous platelet count of 3.8 lakh and current platelets of 2.8 lakh is acceptable and both values are within range.
This variation is acceptable.
There is nothing to worry about the elevated lymphocytes if you are asymptomatic.
You can follow up the lymphocytes after couple of months.
